The Idea We Planet

it stems from the idea of raising public awareness of what is such a beautiful and precious resource that it is irreplaceable: our planet, the only one we have.
One hundred artists interpret the subject Earth. Unique, material, three-dimensional, creative, surprising and above all large works (130 cm in diameter) that are exhibited throughout the city of Milan at the same time with another great event: Il Salone del Mobile. Something i've never seen before. The most beautiful and significant squares and streets of the metropolis become a large "open air" art gallery dedicated to a single subject: our planet.
An artistic event of absolute importance, without equal and never realized before. An extraordinary and fantastic opportunity that embraces thousands and thousands of people of all races and all ages.

From here and from the collaboration between WePlanet and Creativando/Heart Gallery takes its cue from the idea of reproducing some of the giant subjects on a small scale. And ceramics was immediately identified as the most appropriate material for this purpose. Hence the temptation to artistically interpret the subject "Globo" the step was short and the first models blossomed in an instant. Reproductions of giant planets will arrive later.
In addition, globes and "tailor-made" projects can be realized customized for the needs of companies and individuals.

The We Planet Collection is born

Each globe in the WePlanet Collection has its own path that represents the spirit and artistic talent of the decorators and pottery artisans who have interpreted it.
Like the United Colors model decorated by Erichetta Novello. Patience, knowledge of the use of colors both cold and third fire and relief enamels as well as the innate ability to match them, where symbols and shades intertwine and give life to a world of colors and creativity.
Each piece is a unique piece, because the artist is never serial. But the style is always and absolutely recognizable. The result is small, unrepeatable masterpieces of pure art.
Or Letizia Malvestuto's interpretation inspired by the ancient Japanese technique to repair broken ceramics with a track of relief gold: kintsugi. Refined and very current for our planet.
The Globo Mondrian Style, conceived by Renzo Schiratti, instead winks at the Bauhaus movement and its concepts of linearity, simplicity and cleanliness.
True Gold On Blue is a high school pottery style exercise where the globe is divided into just two colors and the lands that emerged are covered with 24-carat gold dust. The effect is remarkable and sure chromatic effect, the message is clear: our planet is a precious asset.
Other artists are working to interpret the ceramic reproduction of planet Earth and dress it with ideas, colors, creativity and soon new models will be available.
